Award season is in full swing and that means viewing hundreds of pretty gowns on even prettier stars, best and worst dressed lists to pore through and of course, picking out our favorite looks! Since we don’t have a team of stylists to help us get ready, we did a little research to figure out just how to work some of our favorite trends and red-carpet hair into our wardrobe. Here’s how:

Braids and beach-y waves have been a big hit so far this season and we are loving every second of these no fuss styles! Charlize Theron won rave reviews for her simple yet elegant side-braided chignon, while Reese Witherspoon took California waves to a new level of glam.
