Picture this: the roaring ’20s, the age of jazz and the original “It” girl, Clara Bow. Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald are making waves with their wild lifestyle, and women everywhere are starting to notice. Flappers, the unconventional, fashion-savvy ladies who won’t let society tell them what to do, are the direct result.

The flapper lifestyle was fun, free-spirited and flirty. Sounds good to us! The perfect way to pay homage this Halloween? Our Foxy Flapper costume, of course! It’s the bees-knees. And since no flapper in her right mind would be seen without a full face of make-up, we found a tutorial by celebrity make-up artist Kandee to help you achieve your full potential.

Now that you’ve got the right look, it’s time to start practicing the Charleston and perfecting your shimmy! You”ll also need the right lingo to convince your friends that you’re a real Louise Brooks-y gal.
