This week we’re looking at the biggest post-wedding day activity—no, not the clean up: the honeymoon. After the wedding, most couples head off to a gorgeous destination agreed upon by both of you. If nothing has struck your (collective) fancy yet, you may be excited to know that there are trendy honeymoon spots. Wedding magizines, blogs and travel sites put together compilations of the top 10 each year in fact! We scoured the web for the best and most recommended. Whether you choose to use these as guidelines for travel or as a surefire way to escape the crowd is entirely up to you!

Near and dear to our hearts (after all it’s just a few hours drive south), Mexico offers many gorgeous places to visit. We suggest Puerto Vallarta, if only for the stunning 40 miles of beach and delicious food. Plus, it’s a mecca for art and music.

We were surprised to see the U.S. making so many lists but from Hawaii, probably one of the best-known wedding destinations, to resorts in Vegas & Key West, we really do have so much to offer. If tropical beaches aren’t your thing head to one of the many cozy little B & B’s in the Northeast or try your hand at some glam-camping in California wine country!
