By now, many of you may be aware of the phenomena known as “The Miracle Dress”. For those of you who haven’t been introduced to this new trend, it first appeared on the Stella McCartney runway in 2011. A racerback tank dress that employs a color block panel in front, it gives the look of slim, hourglass curves.

Kate Winslet first stepped out in a cream and black version at the Mildred Pierce premiere last September and jaws dropped. Pleased with the overwhelmingly positive response, she stepped out again in a red & black palette on the Carnage red carpet.

From Liv Tyler to Penelope Cruz, this body-conscious dress has made the rounds on Hollywood’s elite. And, it looks like it’s here to stay with Philip Lim and Victoria Beckham sending similar styles down the runway for Fall/Winter 2012.

Always looking at ways to continue our role as innovators of luxurious lingerie, we asked, “Why not get the same contoured look in the bedroom?”. The Hourglass Illusion Chemise is the result and we have to say, it’s pretty wonderful! Designed with a slimming solid panel in front that creates the look curves and sheer mesh sides, it’s the perfect piece to help you get the look you crave, without the figure-hugging fit of a corset or shapewear in the bedroom.

What do you think of the Hourglass Illusion Chemise? Are you all for it or do prefer a more traditional body shaper?
